We all know how Karate surged in popularity through the 1970s with Bruce Lee’s rise to stardom. Then came The Karate Kid, and Karate skyrocketed again in the late ’80s and ’90s, followed by the UFC’s emergence when the ground game sparked massive growth across the martial arts world. In our classes we aren’t your typical Karate or BJJ studio. We train students in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, combined with effective Boxing and Kickboxing techniques. What this means, in short, is that our students receive the best elements from multiple disciplines. You could call our approach REAL MIXED MARTIAL ARTS. With over 44 years of experience, we remain committed to providing the highest quality instruction to support your personal growth. Our family class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5–6pm and 6–7pm, and we’ll be adding more classes throughout the week as the studio continues to grow. These sessions welcome moms and dads training alongside their children, grandparents bonding with grandchildren, as well as kids and teens training independently.
Home School Karate will be starting up in April on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are trying to decide on a morning class from 10a-11p right after our Tai Chi Classes. Please feel free to send us a message.
